The book “Bonds between mother and children” was written by Prof. Miyuki Hirabayashi as a wedding present to her daughter Mai when she got married in Japan. It relates episodes of her life in Venezuela and illustrates her efforts and dedication to her three small children and particularly points out the importance of the family bonds.
We consider this book will be of great use to Japanese language students. It has three sections:
– Original Japanese version with furigana to facilitate the reading
– Spanish translation
– Glossary: Hiragana – Kanji – Spanish
The students Consuelo Gonzalez, Lidia Da Silva and Raquel Yaker Alazrachi worked over one year under Prof. Miyuki Hirabayashi´s supervision on the introduction of the furigana, elaboration of the Glossary and the translation into Spanish.
